Event Producer

Jordy Jones is an artist, writer, curator and community advocate. Jones has worked with venues as diverse as Intermedia Arts Minneapolis, Minnesota, The Guggenheim New York and the De Waag Society for Old and New Media Amsterdam, The Netherlands. He owns and operates trans-art.org.

He is featured in Monika Treut’s documentary Gendernauts and serves on the board of directors of The Lab.

He is proud to serve the community on the LGBT Advisory Committee of the San Francisco Human Rights Commission and on the Board of The San Francisco Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Pride Celebration Committee. He is past co-chair of the San Francisco Transgender Civil Rights Implementation Task Force. He is pursuing a Master’s degree in Museum Studies at San Francisco State University and can be reached at jordy_jones@yahoo.com.
