Matthue has worked as a baker, a futurist analyst, and an anthropologist, and is now trying to make a living as a professional poet. He and is the author of a novel, White Kids, Black Clothes, and two chapbooks, Bellybudding and Platonic. In January 2002 he made his first cross-country tour. He has appeared with performers ranging from Santana to members of Sister Spit, and from CBGB’s to Yale University. He lives in the Mission District of San Francisco, CA.
