Zulma Oliveras

Zulma Oliveras

Zulma, 31, was born & raised in San German, Puerto Rico. She became a member of Comite ‘98, Por Un Puerto Rico Libre when she moved to the Bay Area in 1998. Zulma has participated in civil disobedience against the NAVY in Vieques, and she also works with Bay Area coalitions against U.S. militarization in the rest of Latino America.

Her focus is to educate/empower women and their communities to finally rise as the Goddesses we are in order to end oppression and to fight for the basic Universal Human Rights.

Where are the radical Dykes of San Francisco to help me strengthen the women’s movement?

Zulma works at The Women’s Building Information & Referral Office & also as the coordinator of the Community Resource Room.

Zulma was the Co-Emcee with Tina D’Elia at the 2001 SF Dyke March. She is currently attending the Graduate Program in School Counseling at SFSU.

Does she have time for anything else? Yes, she still makes time for sex and creating good intimacy with women.
